Holiday Traditions

Looking for new traditions to start with Ellie as this is her first Holiday season. We're having Thanksgiving dinner here on Thursday and then I put up my Christmas tree on Black Friday (the Christmas carols and piano music also come out). Trying to figure out where I'm going to hang Christmas Stockings when we don't have a mantle - Any suggestions?
