First Day of Preschool

I was just a freshman in high school when the first plane hit the Twin Towers on September 11, 2001. Eleven years later, my daughter began her own school career as we walked into her own classroom in the early morning hours yesterday.

All summer long, she was very excited about attending school but you could tell that the nerves started to set in right before we left. When I picked her up, this is what she had to say.

"I can't want my teacher. I need you. I need my Mommy back."

We'll see how tomorrow goes. Daddy is handling drop-off (with two toddlers) all by himself. I have to work tomorrow. So tell me, did your little one have a hard time starting school this year?
